From 3rd - 9th March London Recycles held their annual Repair Week.
London Recycles is a campaign that aims to help residents of the capital recycle more things, more frequently, and to encourage us to reduce the amount we consume by keeping our items in use for longer through repairing, sharing, and renting.
The week was a celebration of repair throughout London, inviting people to gain the skills to mend stuff, help save the pennies and help save the environment to boot! There were numerous workshops taking place around the city, as well as a whole host of tips and tricks to help us fix our clothes, electricals, bikes and more.
Save The World Club had a great time during the week - a number of new faces visited us for our "Revive-All" open day and we had an increase of items being left with us for repair following the event.
We have another electrical-repair cafe open day tentatively planned for Saturday May 24th - watch this space for updates.
