Of Hoodies and hampers

Save The World Club made an amazing 107 hampers this winter for people in need. Thanks to everyone who donated goods or gave their time to pack them - the scheme is a great help for the recipients at this time of year.

Of these, we sent 30 to Staywell - a charity supporting older people in the borough of Kingston - to provide some cheer for their clients over the festive period.

Staywell put us in touch with a gentleman called Giles, from not-for-profit organization Thinking Works, which aims to tackle fuel poverty and create a sustainable and more energy-efficient future, who gave us 100 hoodies to help local residents.

As a result of this generous donation we were able to add hoodies to all our hampers!

A massive "thank you" to Giles and the Thinking Works team for their wonderful gift to support people in the Kingston area. We hope you had a fabulous winter holiday and look forward to making more hampers with the community again next year.
