Jam for Hampers

Save The World Club recently held a number of “Join us & Jam!” events at our warehouse.

We were instructing people how to create conserve from scratch. Attendees not only acquired a new skill, but also helped us to make as much jam as we could together for our annual “Winter Hampers” project - every Christmas, STWC makes hampers to help bring some festive cheer to those having a hard time over the holiday period.

In aggregate, across the three sessions we managed to make a fantastic 150 jars of jam of different varieties – all contributing towards the scheme.

We welcome any donations from the public for the hampers - specifically dried, long-life, tinned and preserved goods. So if you would like to make someone's Yuletide a little happier and have any of these items to give, please drop by our premises. We are open 12-7pm weekdays and 2-6pm on Saturdays.
