![Good morning Neighbours! We had a fantastic day on Saturday with around 30 attendees throughout the day who came to the third of our 3 stand-alone Join us & Jam sessions. We hope that those of you who could make it had a wonderful time.
Attendees helped preserve produce coming into season for hampers 🍯 and was an opportunity to check out our new rehearsal studio the "Connect" studio 🎸! Thanks to your efforts, the jam made will go towards this year's hamper project from produce that would have otherwise not have lasted long.

With school back in session, we’re holding our very first Vinyl & CD Day on the 11th with most vinyls going for £1! 🎵💿
We’ll be joining The @communitybrain's annual Ski Sunday & The King’s Soup on the 12th at Central Parade, 2 St Mark's Hill, Surbiton KT6 4PJ. Do drop by and visit our booth for a selection of goods! 🛍️
Tea & Chat is back this month on the 18th, where we’ll be joined by Yu Wing from Au Law Organic Farm UK CIC, who’ll be giving tips on how to grow your own food and how to make spaghetti squash dishes! 🥗
To end off the month, our annual Halloween Grotto is back 🎃Come dressed in your spookiest outfit (or not, it’s up to you!) and indulge in some sweets and trickery at the warehouse.
And for anyone new to STWC, we’ll be holding our usual monthly /weekly events including; the #KingstonWasteNotWantNot #CommunityFridge weekly on Fridays where you can collect fresh food surplus for free 🍎, the Square 1 cafe New Malden 🫖 on Saturdays, and the Kingston Orchard Project monthly session will be held on the first Sunday of the month, with repeating weekly sessions 🍁

With all that's been made at these events, and between them, we are at more than 120 jars of preserves! A big #ThankYou to: Tariq and Domini for their efforts making and donating preserves made outside the sessions, to Roland for organising the apple press and shredder, and also to Olivia (our kitchen co-ordinator) and numerous volunteers for their help on the day, we couldn't do all this without them.
