We were recently visited by a lady (who wishes to remain anonymous) asking us to fix a lamp made by Mabel Lucie Attwell (the illustrator for J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan), which was bought as a present for her mother as a child in the late 1940s. The value of the piece is estimated at between £600 and £800!
The lamp was given to her recently but she had never seen it working; so she brought it along to our "Revive-All" repairs hub where Mark (one of our fantastic fixers) managed to bring it back to life.
She was thrilled with the result and to show her gratitude left us a donation, which will support us in carrying out repairs for others who want to use the service.
