STWC CO-FOUNDERS AWARDED THE FRANCES MOSELEY COMMUNITY AWARD

Des Kay and Tariq Shabbeer, trustees of Save the World Club, were awarded the Frances Moseley Community Award which is in memory of the late Berryland's Ward Councillor and housing lead member and it celebrates local people who help Kingston's tenants and leaseholders as well as the wider community.

We at Save The World Club officially opened their doors to our new HQ and up-cycling facility. We had a weekend of fun and a socially distanced community BBQ.

CHRISTMAS GROTTO AT THE CIRCULATORY

December 12th was full of wrapping paper, bubbles, smiles, and Santa - of course! We had many families drop in to wrap gifts, see our elves, and tell Santa what they'd like for Christmas. Santa reminded our community members to be resourceful and consider making gifts with recycled materials.


LOCAL TECH COMPANY DONATES ZERO-EMISSIONS VAN TO STWC

Peter Lukes, CEO of IT company Wandstor, generously donated a brand new electric van to Save the World Club! Peter heard about our van fundraising campaign and felt moved. Thanks to him, we are reaching more vulnerable families and propelling towards our goals for the community. Thank you, Peter!
