The mosaic created for East Meets West Week January 2007. The Carpet mosaic was created by the 150 boys from Year 7 who all worked on the project. The inspiration for the design came from the work from the boys course work on Fruit , combined with inspiration from the Ismail Gallery at the V and A , and in particular the Ardabil Carpet. The 6 square metre mosaic was completed in 5 days.
The project was led by Kim Porrelli and assisted by Tina Ayling.
