Two gorgeous mosaics were commissioned and funded by the charity Momentum to brighten up the dull entrance to the Children's Wards, based on the names of the wards which are Sunshine and Dolphin

Local schoolchildren and children from the hospital were asked to come up with their ideas and drawings and these were used in the final designs by the artists.Kim Porrelli was the project leader and she was assisted by Tina,Linda,Howard,Nicky, Louise and Jackie.

Special thanks to St Paul's Church of England School  and to Kingston Grammar School for their participation in the project. Special thanks must also go  to the team of  brilliant and dedicated volunteers who worked through the winter in our cold workshop and  without whom we could not have finished on time!
